Love

Radha loved Krishna
She waited forever to see him
but when he came she showered him with complaints
She expected a lot from him
but what she expected most was him

Krishna loved Radha
Among all his pursuits when he made time
he devoted himself completely to her
He saw her dissatisfactions in dismay and jest
and made her forget it all with a loving embrace

Krishna's and Radha's love
the most celebrated in India
leaves its mark and its folly
on Indians

Or is it an eternal pursuit
for two to strive to know
that they are one at a higher plane
but be frustrated that they are not so
in the visible world?

Prakriti came from Purusha
and alas is her fate
to know that she is Not without him
but he Is irrespective of her

Free as Purusha is
he is bound by his love
for Prakriti
but alas Prakriti doesnt realise
that all he Is, is for her

This struggle to become one again,
according to me, is Love.
